Rules for admission

Admission to the doctoral school is based on:

  • Academic results: your ranking during your Master's is taken into account and a minimum of Assez Bien (merit) is required;
  • Being awarded a thesis subject offered by a researcher or professor in a research unit affiliated with the doctoral school;
  • Allocation of at least €900 /month in funding for 36 months to prepare the thesis.

Compatibility between the applicant and the subject is essential to obtaining a thesis subject. The researcher or professor offering the research subject makes this decision.

The doctoral school jury evaluates the applications it receives and makes the final admission decision.

When the jury is unable to make a decision (in the case of certain types of funding), admission will require an interview with the director of the doctoral school.
