Introducing

The "Sciences and environments" doctoral school offers a doctoral training program in earth and space sciences, ecology, the environment, archaeology, philosophy, and the history of science.

 

The "Sciences and environments" doctoral school was created in 2007 and is one of eight doctoral schools affiliated with the University of Bordeaux College of Doctoral Studies.

It works with five CNRS or INRAE joint research units, a host research team from the University of Bordeaux and the University of Bordeaux Montaigne, and 1 INRAE research units.

In total, the school has more than 200 researchers and teaching staff, 100 of whom are Accredited to Supervise Research (HDR). The Doctoral School (DS) covers a range of fields that includes earth and space sciences, ecology, archaeology, and the history of science.
