Re-enrolment is dependent on the submission of a report from the thesis supervisory committee.
All the information needed to complete your administrative enrolment is available on the University of Bordeaux College of Doctoral Studies website.
At the beginning of the academic year, the doctoral candidate and the thesis supervisor must evaluate how the work has progressed.
If the doctoral candidate is unable to finish their manuscript and defend their thesis before the end of that calendar year, they must request a re-enrolment waiver.
- By 14 October 2019 at the latest: send the doctoral school (firstname.lastname@example.org) the request for a re-enrolment waiver (for the 4th year and beyond).
- On 25 October 2019: the doctoral school's ad hoc commission examines the requests.
The re-enrolment application must include:
1. A single PDF file bearing the doctoral candidate's name containing:
2. An update to the doctoral candidate's ADUM profile, in their "Personal Area" indicating:
Following authorization from the doctoral school, the admissions office will send the doctoral candidate an e-mail indicating the steps needed to finalize the administrative enrolment.
Student status cannot be combined with job seeker status. Any attempt to combine these statuses will result in the cancellation of both statuses and require the repayment of any amounts received.
Re-enrolment in the fifth year is dependent on the presentation of the completed thesis.
After authorization from the doctoral school, the admissions office will send the doctoral candidate an e-mail indicating the steps needed to finalize the administrative enrolment.
